Hi and welcome to Girl on Arts! I’m a Latinx artist based in Pearland, TX. I graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with my BFA including a concentration in Graphic Design in 2020.

I call myself Girl on Arts because art is addicting to me. It is something I do everyday. It is what helps me keep my sanity, it allows me to express myself, and I’m beyond grateful that I can call it my job. When I was thinking up a name for myself, I couldn’t even narrow down the word “art” because I want to do it all!

I consider myself an artist, but fiber art has a special place in my heart. I crochet and sell my items as well as teach crochet individually or in groups. I teach craft classes that are easy and fun to do. I want others to feel capable of making beautiful things and experience the comfort crafting can bring.

I love color and pattern in my work and am constantly learning. I love a good play on words and eccentric art. I’m a big believer on not taking my art work too seriously. I want art to be affordable and approachable by all.
